How is Mangal dosha checked properly?

Classically Mars is judged from three references — the Lagna (ascendant), the Moon and Venus — and a house counts as a dosha house only if Mars occupies the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th or 12th from that reference. VedicSpace computes all three lenses and applies the classical cancellation (bhanga) rules before giving a net verdict.

Can Mangal dosha be cancelled?

Yes — classical texts list cancellation rules (bhanga) under which the dosha is not read at full strength. Many charts labelled "Manglik" from a single reference carry such a cancellation. VedicSpace shows which rule fires, or states honestly that the chart is clear.
